Niki has been playing violin for 10 years now. She is an experienced violin player who has attended the Crowden Music School from 4th-8th grade and has progressed into a determined young musician. She has studied with Miriam Cammen, Heghine Boloyan, and currently studies with Wei He. She has attended to copious amounts of summer music programs such as Young Music International held in Oxford, England with Erica Miranda, Summer Music West (2008 and 2009) in SF, and the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival (2011 and 2012). She has played with numerous orchestra's such as YPSO (Young People's Symphony Orchestra) where she has gone on tour to Sydney, Australia performing at the Sydney Opera House and New Zealand, and she has also attended OYO (Oakland Youth Orchestra). Niki currently attends the San Domenico School and is involved in the Virtuoso Program orchestra and chamber music. She is a girl who feels strongly about animal rights, and enjoys mountain biking, dance, and soccer during her spare time. She wishes to continue her violin playing in the future and help those who are less fortunate.
